So, I'm having "issues"

Dammit, ok... no new guitar yet, I've been saving a whole... 5 days now. In the meantime, the "check engine" light in the car has gone on, my wife's having a hellish week at work, my job is hotter than ever and messy to boot, and I STILL don't have my new guitar yet!

See, I focus on the guitar, I think, to convince myself that I can do this... that I can save money and buy something good, instead of saving a little and buying something crappy, or not saving at all. I want to spend big chunks of money... HUGE! How cool, I imagine, to walk into a Guitar Center, $2000 in my wallet, and sit down and play all the high-dollar stuff, knowing 100% that I can buy nearly anything in the store, cash. It is a dream, you know? I don't have many of them, so I tend to take the very few of them seriously.

Making chili tonight. This should be good:

1 pound coarse ground beef
1 pound chorizo
1 can kidney beans
1 can black beans
1 large can diced tomatos
1 small can pureed tomatos
1 tbsp cumin seeds
1/2 teaspoon cloves
4 allspice berries
1 tbsp oregano
5 tbsp minced garlic
2 habanero peppers, seeded and diced
