The Difficulties of Extemporaneous Postings

How does one just "blog"?

Without any sort of interaction with other people, I find it difficult to think of much to say. My strength lies more in playing off of other people, than in just making long-winded off-the-cuff postings about my inner workings or day-to-day goings on. Satan only knows how little I want to waste this space talking about politics or religion, at least if I can help it. So, what to post, what to post?!?

I guess I'll whine/beg/rant a little, just because:

I want a new guitar. Not just any new guitar, though. I want something flashy, something eye-catching, something that just screams "look at how much money this thing cost me!" Unfortunately, I don't really have the money to buy one, the credit to borrow money for the purpose, or the discipline to save the kind of cash required. I know I could settle for something in the $650-800 range, but what I really want is some $1,500-2,000 gold-plated and abalone-inlayed deal with all the bells and whistles.

Why? I dunno. I know I need a new one, without the whole whammy bar, just so I can change tunings on the fly. Why I need a hot, flashy guitar, to complement my very non-flashy playing style? Because it looks cool? Because it can impress in ways that my playing can't?

Or, maybe, just to say "look, I take this seriously, and my equipment shows my level of commitment"?

OK, end of whine, time for begging: if everyone sends me a dollar, and everyone=1500 people, I can get that dream guitar. If not? More whining, and that's a threat and a promise!
